As time goes by it seems as if RIM can not hold its ground against Apple and Google, as this week they gave up more  of their market share to the competition.
As of Friday Google now owns 36.4 percent share of the market while Apple moved to 26 percent, RIM has seen this drastic downward spiral since the beginning of the year with no signs of a turn around, since April RIM has fallen from 30.4 percent to 25.7 percent of the  smartphone market.   There was a time when RIM had a vice grip hold on the corporate smartphone market now they can not keep pace.  It seemed RIM would have been back in business with the announcement of their new Blackberry Bold but news releases said that RIM has decided to release the phone in September.  If you have been keeping up with the tech news that’s already a bad idea for RIM since rumors have it that Apple plans on releasing their new iPhone around this time. RIM had a great run but it seem their time is up.
