If you can think outside the box and are not afraid to be goofy and get dirty…hit the jump to find out ways to have more fun with your date!

CREATE AN ADVENTURE:  Here’s what you do:  grab two bikes or roller blades and set off into the sun set!  No, really…just GO!  Explore those few blocks that you two never go down.  My ex and I stumbled on a beautiful lake that was residing only 15 minutes from my apartment.  After that, we went running and biking there ALL the time.  This is more for the outdoors type.  But if it’s not your thing, try exploring some different sections of the library or a really spooky museum.  Of course, YOU NEED AN IMAGINATION FOR THIS TO BE FUN!

DRESS UP:  Try going into the mall and picking out outfits for one another.  It’s really fun to see what a guy or girl would dress you in if it were up to their discretion.  One of my guy friends got me into this.  We went out and he pointed out stuff that looked like my style.  Then he began pointing out stuff he’d like to see me in.  By the end of the day he had picked out about three different looks for me!  It was SO MUCH FUN!  I am by no means suggesting a shopping spree for a random date!  That’s why I named this one ‘dress up’! NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!

PLAY A CHILDHOOD GAME:  This might sound corny but games and random trivia quizzes are great conversation pieces.  One time my date and I made origami fortune cookies from back in the day.  You know the kind where you put numbers and questions under the flaps.  Of course he put horn ball questions on his fortune cookie.  I balanced those out with some fun and PG questions about hobbies and ‘what if’s.  The date went REALLY well after that.  If that’s too childish for ya, try a one on one game of Taboo, dominoes or Guestures!  If all else fails, pull out a deck of cards and play some one on one spades!
