Mike Brown, speaking at the NFL owners meetings, would not say whether Ochocinco, who has one year and $6 million left on his contract, would return to Cincinnati for an 11th season. But he discussed Ochocinco’s offseason acivities, which have included forays into professional soccer and bull riding.

Asked if Ochocinco still can be a football player as he participates in his off-field pursuits, Brown said he could, but added, “The issue is, does he at this stage of his life have that focus?

“Next maybe he’ll be a snake wrangler and we’ll watch to see if he gets bit,” Brown said. “They amuse me in a way, but they concern me because, let’s face it, we want a football player. We aren’t hiring a bull rider, a dancer or a soccer player.”
