A new ad, allegedly from Dove, has hit the net with some great controversy. Although Dove has neither confirmed nor denied that this is their actual ad, people are saying they’ve seen it in magazines (as opposed to just the net where it could be fake).
It first appeared on Copyranter, and the issue is the positioning of the women with the writing in the background. Look at the pic after the jump and see if you see the problem. Â
With the way the women are lined up with the writing, it can appear as though the hidden message is it’ll make a curvy black woman into a skinny white woman. I like to see the “better good” in people so I’d like to believe this was just a major oversight on Dove’s part…if this is even real at all. What do you guys think???
