What is Planking, its the new internet craze in which you must lie face down, palms flat against your sides, with your feet together and pointing at the floor while taking a photo.  Points are given determined by location, how many people are Planking the picture and the number of spectators involved.
The word Plank is originally from Australia, Planking has become 2k11 version of the lying down game. The rules of the game seem pretty simple, but of course the point of the game is to come up with the most outrageous pictures you can to earn points. Once you perform your Plank you upload your picture(s) to your Facebook page for all to see hoping to cause a stir.  The game seems to be making some noise in Australia where a young man was arrested for planking on top of  an unoccupied car several days ago.  After the arrest the official Planking Facebook page grew over night growing to 180,000 fans.  The game does seem harmless but this week the game saw its first causality in which a man fell 7 stories to his death.  If you are Planking , Plank safe and leave the stunts to the professionals.
