At the moment I can really only think of two words to describe Beyonce: “class act.” Beyonce has been in the game for a long time now and she is only 29 years old!! And if that doesn’t strike a chord, at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards, first lady Michelle Obama along with many other music legends honored Beyonce in a video before Bey’s “Run the World” performance. Afterwards, Tina Knowles (Bey’s mother) presented her daughter with the Billboard Millennium Award. Beyonce then thanked her parents, Destiny’s Child including its original members, her fans, her label, and her man, Hov. “I loveee me some Jay Z,” she said…lol. Congratulations Beyonce on such a well-deserved honor!!
And don’t forget to watch the footage Bey’s show stopping “Run the World (Girls)” performance after the jump!! Definitely don’t want to miss it!!
