A PATH train has been involved in an accident in Hoboken on Sunday morning.

The accident happened at the Eerie Lackawanna terminal around 9 a.m., but details on the cause of the accident remain unclear at this time.

There were 45 injuries altogether and, as of 9:41 a.m., 15 were still being treated with non-life-threatening neck and back injuries.

Officials took the injured to three different area hospitals.

Train service into and out of Hoboken has been suspended. All other train service is operating.

No official statement has been made.
