America’s favorite bachelor, George Clooney, turned 50 today! Clooney, who has been voted Sexiest Man of The Year numerous times, made his acting debut in 1978 as an extra in Centennial. Clooney made it big with his role as Dr. Doug Ross in the drama series ER. Since leaving the series, he has gone on to star in blockbuster hits such as the Oceans series, Three Kings, O Brother Where Art Tho?, and many more. George Clooney has also taken on the role of producer, director, and humanitarian. He has used his fame to help raise awareness for many causes such as Malaria awareness and was appointed a messenger of peace by the United Nations in 2008.
