Square Vs. iZettle: Fight
This is a real Start up Battle, maybe not seen since Apple Vs Commodore 64, and I wonder if that’s how it’s gonna play out? Are one of these iPhone Credit Card Reader’s Gonna become one of the greatest Tech Devices(company) in the World and one be forgotten about years later?? Well I guess time will tell, or will it, I mean I’m gonna give you My Opinion after the Jump.
@TatWza
Ok 1st up Let me tell you just a little bit about Square, the Mini-Stereo Jack credit card reader for iPhone, iPad, & Android that was co-created by the Co-Creator Of Twitter Jack Dorsey, that is Now Backed by Visa and Sold in Apple Stores for $10. Or you can get one FREE by signing up on the website, and then they Charge you 2.75% EVERYTIME you swipe a Credit Card through the Device(OR If you enter credit card numbers manually, Square costs 3.5% + 15¢ per transaction), with the help on the App it uses, which is all said to be Secure(especially with VISA involved), Doesn’t work with Smart Cards(which a lot of Europeans use), but it is all pretty Simple. (can someone say “apple” from the Earlier question)
iZettle
Then You have iZettle, a Sweden Based Company that Pretty much does the same thing as Square, except iZettle works with Smart cards, but is Only On iPhone, and is connected through the 30 Pin Connector on the Bottom of the iPhone, so maybe not the same, but they both read cards, so in that aspect
In My Opinion, Square is Probably gonna Sell Better in the US, and despite it’s name, iZettle Does Well in Europe, but I’m sure Square will come out with Smart Card Reader, so watch out iZettle!!
