Lakers rookie forward Derrick Caracter was arrested and charged with battery on Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The incident reportedly took place near the Lakers’ team hotel. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Caracter was arrested after “grabbing and pulling” a pregnant waitress and failing to comply with a police officer who attempted to intervene. The arrest took place at 1:18 a.m. at the International House of Pancakes. According to the report, Caracter was drunk.
