(WTAE)–Police in Pittsburgh said they arrested a 32-year-old man after he shot a teenage girl over an argument about a cigarette.
Lt. Dan Herrmann said 32-year-old Lamarr Marshall approached a 16-year-old girl in the 6900 block of Kelly Street in Homewood and asked for a cigarette.
Herrmann said the girl became angry because it was her last cigarette and, after an argument, Marshall shot her in the knee.
The girl’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Marshall was arrested after the shooting. Police have not said what charges he may face.
