Charlie Sheen has delivered plenty of fastballs. Â On Thursday, he tried to hit a few.
The former ”Two and a Half Men” star stopped by Georgia Tech’s baseball practice before his show in Atlanta. He took some ground balls, shagged flies and joined the team for batting practice, school spokesman Dean Buchan said.
Sheen hit about a half-dozen balls to the warning track at Russ Chandler Stadium, but never cleared the fence. Afterward, he posed for a picture with the team, then received treatment from Yellow Jackets trainer Walt Smith.
”Thank you Georgia Tech Baseball! Epic day at the yard,” Sheen wrote on Twitter. ”My ulnar tendon dead. Walt Smith, the genius, fixing it.”
Sheen starred as pitcher Rick ”Wild Thing” Vaughn in the first two ”Major League” movies.
