Rest in peace to the late, great Guru. Today marks one year since the legendary emcee passed. For you youngins, Guru was a part of Gang Starr, which consisted of himself and DJ Premier. The duo are a staple in hip-hop culture, having put out volumes of music from the late 80’s to early 2000’s that still bang to this day. Tonight, DJ Premier will appear on Hot 97 from 10pm to 12 midnight for a 2 hour tribute to Guru. Make sure you tune in! RIP Guru!!!
