WASHINGTON POST (AFP) – Corey Newman, 28, of Alexandria, Virginia, proposed to his lady, Marlowe Epstein, 31, through clues sprinkled in a specially crafted crossword puzzle.

Nerdy but CUTE!

OK, so here’s how he broke it down. The clues for 37 Across, called for the name of a role in the movie “Shakespeare in Love.”

The answer–Marlowe.

39 Across asked for the name of a “Casablanca” screenwriter.

You guessed it–Epstein.

And to bring it all together, 51 Across asked for: “Words with a certain ring to them.”

When Epstein pieced the question together, Newman got down on one knee and proposed! Talk about creative and special.

Just when you thought romance was a thing of the past!
Oh yeah, of course she said YES!
