Ok people. So I think I layed the ground work about the K Sutra in Thursday’s post. Today its time to elaborate! While the ancient text is widely known for it’s “positional” instructions, it examines intimacy on a whole different level. The sexual positions that made the book famous only take up 46 pages of the 172 page text! There are 3 major components! With that being said, lets explore! You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers…after the jump!

SETTING THE MOOD:
Of course scented candles and some throwback 112 is a good way to set the mood but there are some preliminary steps that must be followed! First off-good hygiene is a must! Some couples place less importance on this because they’ve been together for a while. But, if your love life is wack, its probably because your not putting forth that necessary mood setting and funk is not a part of that equation. The K Sutra suggests mutual grooming i.e. showering together to get things started. A light dinner prior to “the act” can allow for a great convo. Not just any convo. Only convo that stimulates the mind can stimulate the body accordning to the K’Sutra. Try to steer clear of stress-triggering topics. This time should serve an escape from the worries of everyday life. Now that the mood is set, its time for some…
FOREPLAY:
In most situations a kiss on the forehead means “I care about/I love you”. A french kiss however indicates “I think its time we got it on”. The K’Sutra lists kisses and embraces in order of their eroticism. These range from contact, piercing, rubbing and squeezing embraces to nominal, throbbing, bent, reverse and touching kisses. WHO KNEW there were a gazillion different ways to convey your lustful intentions!?!? From the scalp the the toes, and everything inbetween are erogenous zones. So you guessed it-a massage should be in order!Â
The last component is…
DOIN’ THE DO:
This is pretty self explanitory. All your hard work pays off here. You took the time to set the scene and now you get to apply all the moves. I’m not gonna go in depth here. So you can check out positional options online. Or you can just go for what you know. But remember, the K’Sutra is more than positions! Its sexual liberation and euphoria-WHEN DONE RIGHT!
