After the J. Crew ad above was released earlier this week, Fox News reported on the subject of boy toenail painting and how it relates to gender identity, in fact, according to Fox, it celebrates transgendered children. Turns out, mothers giving their sons pedicures these days isn’t too uncommon. So who is the A-list celeb that enjoys painting her son’s toe nails?? Find out after the jump!!
It’s J.Lo!! Jennifer Lopez, who was just named the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” by People magazine says that
her son Max “wants to paint his nails too. Because for him, it’s just paint. He’s like, ‘I want the blue!'” she says, laughing. “Then Marc is like, ‘Why are Max’s nails painted?!’ But he won’t sit still so it’s only like two nails.”
I don’t think Max will grow up to be transgendered like Fox says will happen, but I’m interesting in knowing what everyone’s opinion is about this!! Would you paint your son’s toe nails?
