Alex Rodriguez’s sac fly to right in the sixth inning on Thursday moved him alone in 11th place on baseball’s all-time RBI list.
Rodriguez lifted Jake Arrieta’s 3-2 fastball to right field, allowing Derek Jeter to score to cut the Yankee deficit to 5-3.

It was the 1,840 RBI of Rodriguez’s career. He moved past Ted Williams and Al Simmons on the all-time list. His three-run shot in the first inning on Wednesday move him into a tie for 11thplace with Williams and Simmons.

Next up for Rodriguez? Carl Yastrzemski, who finished with 1,844 RBI.
