Mark your calendars, folks. MTV has announced this morning the official date of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will be Sunday, August 28th. The sad news though (for us east coasters)….is it will once again be out in LA at the Nokia Live Theater 🙁 .
“The city is the perfect backdrop for all the musical moments, mayhem and magic that make the VMAs such a notorious celebration,” said MTV’s President, Stephen Friedman. Yea I GUESS, Steve but NYC has mayhem too ya know! Wah! Anyway, I wonder what kind of shenanigans will go on at this year’s VMA’s. Who are you guys hoping to see a performance from??
