Adele bumped Wiz and Brit out of her way and reclaimed her number one spot this week. And not only that, but “21” becomes the first to sell more than 1 million copies this year! Congrats. With 88,000 sold this past week, total sales for “21” rise to 1.03 million.
Britney Spears falls to number 2 with “Femme Fatale,” clocking 75k. Radiohead’s “The King of Limbs” takes 3 with 67,000. A newcomer to this week’s charts are rockers Hollywood Undead, with their sophomore album, “American Tragedy,” debuting at number 4 with 66,000. Wiz rounds out the top 5 with another strong sales week, pushing 59,000 units of “Rolling Papers.”
Breezy holds on to his Top 10 spot, taking slot 6 with “F.A.M.E.” selling 51k, the “Songs for Japan” compilation at 7 with close to 51k as well, and Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More” takes 8 with an additional 34k sold this week. Asking Alexandria’s “Reckless & Relentless” is the other debut this week, opening with 31,000, landing them at number 9. Finally, Kirk Franklin’s “Hello Fear” comes in at 10 with just under 31k.
