Jay-Z most recently expanded his Roc Nation roster with the addition of U.K. rapper K. Koke, but he’s going to have to put any plans to promote the rhymer on ice. Koke, born Kevin Georgiou, was arrested last week after police raided his home on suspicion that he shot a man on March 9 at North West London’s Harlesden train station.

The 25-year-old MC is currently being held in custody on charges of attempted murder after appearing before City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court last Saturday (April 2). In addition to Koke’s arrest, four others have been arrested in connection with the shooting, which left the unnamed victim with several gunshot wounds in his back.

Koke will make his next court appearance on June 15 when he faces the charges at Blackfriars Crown Court.

The South London native has been making a splash on the international music scene since Hov signed him this past January. The Brooklyn rapper forged a joint venture contract between Koke’s Suspect Entertainment and Roc Nation/RCA, with the British spitter most recently releasing his well-received EP ‘Pure Koke Vol. II.’
