Nearly two dozen people were arrested after come celebrations got out of hand on the UConn campus in Storrs.  Video after the jump….

UConn Campus Police said 23 people were arrested, but only 10 were students. The rest are not believed to be associated with the university.

23 people were arrested for vandalism and damaging property, according to UConn police. There were overturned garbage cans, damaged stop signs and light poles.

UConn police were also investigating reports of two cars overturned and a piano set on fire, along with a couple of fires set in Dumpsters

A couch was set on fire and a car was overturned at an off-campus apartment complex. State police say a crowd of 200 or so had gathered, and some were throwing bottles at troopers. They were using dogs to disperse the crowd.
