Today marked the 17th anniversary of rock legend Kurt Cobain’s death. In his honor, a 13 foot statue of a guitar was put up in Cobain’s hometown of Aberdeen, WA. The statue’s artist, Lora Malakoff, told TMZ the guitar will rest near the infamous Young Street Bridge, which Kurt often sought refuge under to write lyrics. RIP!
