Megan Fox, according to Variety, may be appearing in Judd Apatow’s new movie. The movie is supposedly a new story but will have Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann playing the same roles they did in “Knocked Up”. I’m sure we’ll get more details of the movie, cast, and story later on but for now check out some pics from an NY Times photo shoot featuring Ms. Fox after the jump.

Megan Fox is in talks to join the cast of Judd Apatow’s untitled comedy that has Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprising their roles in “Knocked Up.”

Apatow will

write and direct the film, the first he will have helmed since 2009’s “Funny People.” Apatow, Barry Mendel and Clayton Townsend will produce.

Plot details are being kept under wraps but Apatow has made clear the film is an original story and not a sequel or spinoff of “Knocked Up.” Details on Fox’s character have not been released.

Apatow recently said “Knocked Up” stars Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen may appear in the film but neither thesp has received an offer yet.

Apatow is also in the process of casting the parents of Rudd’s and Mann’s characters who play an important part in this film.Universal will distribute, and production will begin this summer for a June 1, 2012, release.

Fox just wrapped production on “Friends With Kids,” starring Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig. Fox is repped by ICM and attorney Darren Tratner.
