Bruce sold the car back in 1976 for $2,000 and that buyer then sold it for $10,000 in the 80’s. The auction description states it comes with the original vehicle registration, temporary insurance card and Allstateinsurance card in Bruce’s name.

It also states the current owner has invested over $35,000 in “overhauling the mechanical and electrical systems of the car, the body and frame are untouched just the way Springsteen owned it.”

However, car experts reveal the car is really worth between $50-60k, but the fact it was once owned by The Boss’ and was reportedly Springsteen’s inspiration for songs like Born to Run and Thunder Road, might draw a larger sum.
