Mel turned himself in to the El Segundo Police Department last night to have his picture and thumb prints taken after the he pled no contest to simple battery last week. This is common procedure to begin his probation. He’s not going to jail! The charge stemmed from crazy drama between him and his child’s mother Oksana Grigorieva back in January 2010.
Mel was sentenced to 16 hours of community service and 52 weeks of counseling and 36 months of informal probation.
