With Friday’s release of the iPad 2, SoundMan Car Audio has wasted no time preparing the first of what will likely be many iPad 2 dash installs. On Friday, the team installed Apple’s wondertablet into a 2011 Ford F-150.
SoundMan’s Doug Bernards is the man responsible for the install kits, which require more than a little fabrication, and a host of aftermarket jacks and connectors. On Friday, Doug did an all-day blast to get the dash of his F-150 ready for the gadget, while an employee sat in line for eight hours at the local Best Buy.
