Inspired by Diddy’s tweets today about this day in history, I decided to look up what else went down and found some interesting stuff! On this day in 1894, as Diddy told us, Coca-Cola was sold in bottle-form for the very first time. The bottle has since been nixed in lieu of the can, but the bottle remains iconic. Also, eight days after his inauguration, President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave his first national radio address or “fireside chat,” broadcast directly from the White House. Hit the jump to find out some more happenings of March 12th throughout history, as well as links to click for more info.
