Paul Tandy, spokesman for the Parkway School District, told the New York Daily News:

“We’re surprised, very surprised. At the same time we feel for her and her family. We do believe she has tried to move on with her life… Unfortunately, even though it happened 15 years ago, [the video] is still there.”
Myers spent some of the mid-1990s known as Rikki Andersin, and made at least one porn title under that name.

In 2006, she was working as a science teacher in Kentucky under the name Tericka Dye when her past was brought to the school’s attention. She also taught the school’s volleyball team as a physical education coach.

After being put on suspension, KFVS reports that she held a brief press conference, saying:

“I’m a girl from the wrong side of the tracks who’s made a lot of bad decisions in life. Anybody who’s been in my classroom could tell you how much I love teaching and how much I love these students, and that should be what matters more than anything in my past.”
Myers also appeared on the Dr. Phil talk show on Dec. 6, 2006, saying that her brief stint in porn was the biggest mistake of her life.
