@TatWza
Jackass 3D:
Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Wee Man and the rest of the jackass crew are back for their wildest round of mischief and mayhem yet. Behold these merry pranksters’ in-your-face, don’t-try-this-at-home exploits, as Johnny Knoxville goes roller-skating in a buffalo herd, Bam Margera barrels through a hallway of high-voltage stun guns, and Steve-O takes to the skies in a fully-loaded porta-potty. And if the theatrical cut isn’t stupid enough, you can watch the unrated version, complete with uncensored, outrageous footage not shown in theaters. Consider yourself warned! Time: Long enough to laugh
“The Next Three Days”
I’ve been really waiting for this one, how could you go wrong renting a Russell Crowe Flick, could even be worth the Purchase!
Description:
Russell Crowe stars as an ordinary man pushed to extremes in the new thriller from writer/director Paul Haggis. John and Lara Brennan’s ideal family life is shattered when Lara is accused of a murder she says she didn’t commit. When she is found guilty and sentenced to prison, John must find a way to keep his family together. Upon the rejection of her final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and John enlists the help of Damon Pennington to do the unthinkable — break his wife out of prison. Together, they develop an elaborate plot to save the woman that John loves, no matter the cost. Time: Just the right amount
“Morning Glory”
Now I know I said back when this was in theater’s I’d wait for DVD, but this one, although it looks good, I think I’ll wait for Cable.
Description:
Rachel McAdams stars as hard-working TV producer Becky Fuller, who stumbles into a job at “Daybreak” — the last-place national morning news show. Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary news anchor Mike Pomeroy. Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover the usual morning show fluff — let alone work with his new co-host, longtime morning show personality Colleen Peck. As Mike and Colleen declare an all-out, on-air war, Becky’s personal life begins to unravel, and she finds herself struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself. Time: Maybe a little too long
“Inside Job”
I like a good documentary, but unless it’s Michael Moore, I don’t go see or rent, but I will check it out of the Library once it touches down there!
Description:
Fresh from the stage at the Academy Awards, where it won the trophy for Best Documentary, ‘Inside Job’ presents a comprehensive analysis exposing the shocking truth behind the economic crisis of 2008. The global financial meltdown, at a cost of over $20 trillion, resulted in millions of people losing their homes and jobs. Through extensive research and interviews with major financial insiders, politicians and journalists, and narrated by Matt Damon, the film traces the rise of a rogue industry and unveils the corrosive relationships which have corrupted politics, regulation and academia. Time: Long enough to learn something
That’s it for the notable’s, but here’s Last Weeks DVD’s
