This guy just dropped $3,040 on 19 pairs of the Air Jordan 13 Retro that were released More of this story
Originally launched in 1998, the Air Jordan 13 in Black/White-Red debuted on the feet Michael Jordan in that year’s NBA All-Star Game and was later worn in the Bulls playoff run. They were also $150 at retail back then too. This year, the “Playoff†dubbed shoe makes its first retro return with a $10 bump charge, just ‘cuz.
In 1998 prices, this guy could have rounded up to a cool 20 pairs of the Air Jordan 13 for $3,000 even. In 2011 prices, he’s stuck with 19 shoes. Apparently somewhere along the way he must have realized 20 pairs at $160 a pop was a bit much. We applaud his self-restraint.
