Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden and wide receiverEmmanuel Sanders have left the Super Bowl with injuries.

McFadden injured a hip in the first quarter against the Green Bay Packers, and the Steelers said his return was questionable. It was unclear when or how McFadden was hurt.

Sanders left with a foot injury after making a 13-yard catch early in the second quarter. He was taken off the field on a cart.

Offensive tackle Flozell Adams injured his shoulder in the opening quarter when teammate Chris Kemoeatu slammed into his back during Nick Collins’ 37-yard interception return for a touchdown that gave Green Bay a 14-0 lead with 3:20 remaining. Adams was replaced by Trai Essex at right tackle for a few plays before returning to start the second quarter.

Packers defensive backs Charles Woodson and Sam Shields as well as wide receiver Donald Driverall went to the locker room during the second quarter with injuries. Driver was active for the Super Bowl despite nursing an injured quadriceps that limited him in practice.
