Last week, we showed you an old video of Katie Couric and company confused about the concept of the internet! Well now, according to a writer from the Washington Post, the employee who had uploaded that video has been fired!! Read more after the jump…
Still no word and explanation from NBC as to why the employee was fired…it could be a copyright issue, or Katie could have been embarassed…who knows. Check out the tweets below from the Washington Post reporter Rob Pegoraro.
“The guy who posted the 1994 Today Show “what is Internet?” clip on YouTube e-mailed to say he got canned for that. Ugh.”
“Said individual was an NBC employee, as noted in the post. I asked him if that was OK to mention w/out using his name; he said yes.”
