There has been so much snow lately, it’s all we’re used to seeing. I can’t even remember what my street looks like without piles and piles of snow! Some of the cars are still buried as well…and it’s something most don’t even think twice about because if given the choice, my car would still be buried too! (Unfortunately I have too many places to go LOL). But a man who apparently shot himself dead in Queens last week was discovered in his snow-covered car nearly a week later. Hit the jump for the sad details.

From the Daily News:

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered about 12:30 a.m., slumped over in the driver’s seat of a car near 162nd St. and Laburnum Ave. in Flushing. Police said he killed himself in the vehicle with a shotgun and may have been dead since last Wednesday.

“I never thought anything of the car being there for a few days,” said a nearby resident. “The car behind it has been buried under snow for three weeks now. People leave their cars buried around here. It didn’t make me look twice.”
