Aretha Franklin has a biopic coming up based on her best selling autobiography “Aretha: From These Roots.” The singer will begin reviewing scripts next week but in the mean time, she wants to make sure everyone knows who she’s eyeing to fill the roles! She sent out a press release today expressing interest in having Denzel Washington play her father, as well as having Terrance Howard play Smokey Robinson.
