Jamaica, Queens’ own Nicki Minaj skyrocketed to success in recent years and while she has since relocated to the other coast, she still reps her hometown as many chances as she gets. “Grew up out in Baisley. Southside Jamaica, Queens and it’s crazy…’cause I’m still hood, Hollywood couldn’t change me…” she raps on her latest single, Moment 4 Life. Looks like Queens is just as proud to rep her, as a fan tweeted Nicki this photo today of a Pink Friday mural they’ve painted on Jamaica Ave. Very cool!!
