Michael Jordan owns the Charlotte Bobcats and has six NBA championship rings and an Olympic gold medal. But he’ll always be known as the guy who helped the USA win the2009 Presidents Cup.
So of course 2009 captainFred Couples will bring back Jordan (along withJay Haas) for 2011 matches in Australia.
Greg Norman will captain the International team.
“I can’t wait,” Jordan said. “I had such a good time in San Francisco with Freddie, Jay and the team back in 2009. I love golf, the team atmosphere and, of course, competition, and to be in the locker room with some of the best golfers on the planet was a great experience.”
