Washington running back Clinton Portis, who re-injured the groin that kept him out of the past five games, is among seven Redskins who have been hurt in Sunday’s game against Tennessee.

Portis started and had five carries for 32 yards. But he got hurt and returned to the sideline in street clothes in the second half.

Santana Moss(notes) limped off the field on the Redskins’ first drive of the second half with a hamstring injury. His return is questionable, and he was sprinting on the sideline trying to test his leg.

The Redskins came in without three starters due to injuries. Then it got worse.

Washington safety Anderson Russell(notes), who started for LaRon Landry(notes), slid to the turf and hurt his leg on an 87-yard punt return by Marc Mariani(notes) in the first quarter. He had to be helped off the field, and his return is questionable.

Also, center Casey Rabach’s(notes) return was questionable with a knee injury, with Will Montgomery(notes) sliding over from right guard where started for Artis Hicks(notes). The Redskins had to move a tackle over to guard.

Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander(notes) hurt a hamstring and his return was questionable. Lineman Derrick Dockery(notes) also had to be helped off the field in the second quarter and went to the locker room.

Linebacker Rocky McIntosh(notes) went down late in the second quarter with a thigh injury.

Titans defensive tackle Jason Jones(notes) hurt his right knee on the Redskins’ opening series of the game, and returned to the sideline in street clothes.
