In a video that surfaced on the web last week, DMX was shouting “f*ck Jay-Z” during a performance at an Arizona club. It was quite random and seemingly un-provoked, leaving many wondering what in the world X’s issue is now! A rep for the currently incarcerated rapper spoke to XXL Magazine today regarding the incident. “Jay called Swizz and Swizz called us and we’ve been on the phone, back and forth over the last couple of days,†she told the magazine. “He was just freestyling, he doesn’t feel that way at all; not at all.â€
Who freestyles saying “f*ck” someone else if they don’t feel that way? Uh…ok. His rep also touched upon his recent arrest, saying “Earl sometimes has a hard time following the rules, that’s all. He didn’t check in with his probation officer and pretty much [they] extended their hand and they violated him.â€
