Nobody expected Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley to be in a good mood following his team’s 49-29 dismantling at the hands of the Denver Broncos. Still, the second-year head coach turned heads when he apparently refused to shake the hand of Broncos Coach Josh McDaniels after the game.
Video tweeted by the Mile High Report shortly after the game showed McDaniels extending his hand to Haley, who responded by pointing a finger and saying a few words back to the second-year Broncos coach. McDaniels then appeared to walk away angrily.
Asked about the exchange after the game by the Kansas City Star, Haley said it was a private moment, and declined to discuss the issue further.
