The skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk, hosted his “Stand Up For Skateparks” benefit at The Wynn in Las Vegas. The event was a family-centric action-sports carnival that featured activities, games, food, a special musical guest, a preview of Hawk’s video game SHRED, and a Vert Demo by Tony and other top skateboarding and BMX pros on Tony’s personal ramp. Hawk’s foundation has awarded $3.2 million to 463 communities with 370 of those having skateparks. Celebrities in attendance included Shaun White and Holly Madison.
