New York Knicks player Eddy Curry was being sued over claims he failed to pay back a $200,000 loan taken out in 2008.

Mojo Development filed the lawsuit a few days ago in L.A. County Superior Court — and the loan repayment is not the only cost Curry faces. The company wants him to pay an additional $25,000 consulting fee and $136,000 in interest, according to the TMZ report.

This was not the first time financial problems have dogged the star. A Chicago judge issued an arrest warrant on June 16 for Curry in connection to a $197,000 settlement he failed to pay in a 2009 personal injury lawsuit, the Chicago Sun-Times reported at the time.

A New York judge also authorized a lender to seize three of his cars for nonpayment of a loan, TMZ reported.

Calls to Curry’s reps were not returned, it added.
