The Brooklyn Bridge is being reopened after police say a report of a suspicious package turned out to be a false alarm.

The report came in at 9:38 a.m. this morning. The bridge was reopened less than an hour later.

Police say someone on the walkway saw a flashlight with copper wiring and called 911.

Pedestrian traffic was also briefly closed.

That had to be soooo not fun for the commuters! Luckily all traffic is back to normal now.
