In a brilliant move, Petey Pablo attempted to take a STOLEN gun with him on a plane to the VMA’s on September 11th of all days. Needless to say, that didn’t work out too well for him and he was arrested. He was indicted by a grand jury last week and now a federal judge has issued a warrant for his arrest.
The grand jury has charged Pablo with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm and attempting to take the gun onto an airplane.
Petey claimed he didn’t know the gun was stolen and that he’d got it from a friend way before his flight and totally forgot about it. But the jury isn’t buying that.
Petey’s rep told TMZ today that he plans to surrender to authorities early tomorrow morning.
