Yesterday, California’s Gov. Schwarzenegger signed a bill that will make possession of an ounce or less of marijuana a civil infraction, as opposed to a misdemeanor.

Here are the key points of this bill:

-Don’t carry more than an ounce!

-Law goes into effect January 1, 2011. Possession is still a misdemeanor until then

-If caught after Jan 1st, you’ll still get $100 fine, but a court appearance won’t be necessary, and it won’t go on your record

-Smoking in public or around a minor will still be a misdemeanor

It’s almost legal y’all! ….Not that I care LOL but I got more than a few homies that do! And please remember folks…this is ONLY in Cali and ONLY AFTER January 1st so don’t do anything dumb!!
