Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was ordered back to jail following a public confession to a failed court-mandated drug test.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox made the decision to deny bail for Lohan Friday, following days of speculation about her fate. Fox issued a warrant for Lohan’s arrest earlier this week, compelling her to appear in court Friday morning.
Looking somber and wearing black and white clothing, Lohan arrived ten minutes early for the Friday morning hearing. While cameras were not allowed inside the hearing, media lined the outside of the courtroom awaiting the news.
She was later taken outside in handcuffs. A second hearing was scheduled for October 22.
It will be Lohan’s third jail stint for a three-year-old drug and drunken driving case filed after a pair of high-profile arrests in 2007.
